David C. Roskelley, MSPH, CIH, CSP, FAIHA

Mr. Roskelley has a Masters Degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Industrial Hygiene from the University of Utah/Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (RMCOEH) and currently teaches as an adjunct faculty member. Mr. Roskelley is a Board Certified Safety Professional (CSP) as well as a Board Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). He most recently served as Past Chair of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) and has previously served on the AIHA Board as a Director. He is an EPA AHERA-accredited Asbestos Inspector, Management Planner, Project Designer and Contractor/Supervisor, and is a California-Certified Asbestos Consultant (#97-2250). He is an EPA-approved instructor and training manager for all asbestos and lead-based paint disciplines and has taught in excess of 50,000 students over 25 years of teaching with the RMCOEH. He has extensive asbestos/industrial hygiene consulting experience throughout the United States, Canada, and South America and is licensed to conduct asbestos work in approximately 14 states including Utah, Colorado, California, Nevada, Wyoming, Arizona, and Idaho. Additionally, he holds current certifications in Lead Inspection, Lead Risk Assessment and Lead Supervision and is certified by the State of Utah Division of Air Quality (DAQ). Most recently, Mr. Roskelley was recognized for extraordinary contributions to the industrial hygiene profession and awarded the distinguished title of “Fellow” by the American Industrial Hygiene Association.

Mr. Roskelley is also an avid mountain climber who enjoys doing difficult things. He set a personal goal to climb the “7 summits” or the highest mountains on each of the seven continents. To date, he has climbed all seven and accomplished his goal. His next goal has been to climb the “Volcanic Seven Summits”: or the highest volcano on each of the seven continents. On January 18, 2020, he reached the summit of Mount Sidley in Antarctica thus becoming the first American to complete this challenge. His next goal is to travel to the North Pole.

Steve Smith

Mr. Smith is an EPA AHERA accredited Asbestos Inspector and Project Designer. He currently teaches for the University of Utah/Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (RMCOEH) is an EPA approved instructor for all asbestos and lead -based paint disciplines. He has taught in excess of 10,000 students over 10 years of teaching asbestos and lead based paint courses. He has over 18 years of asbestos/industrial hygiene consulting experience throughout the United States, is licensed to conduct asbestos work in approximately 10 states including Utah, Colorado, Tennessee, Nevada, Wyoming, Arizona, and Idaho. Additionally, he holds current certifications in Lead Inspection, Lead Risk Assessment and Lead Supervision and is certified by the State of Utah Division of Air Quality (DAQ).

Stephen S. Galley,
MAEd, CSP

Mr. Galley has a Master’s degree in Secondary Education (Science) and Bachelors’ degrees in both Environmental Engineering and Environmental Science. For the past 30-years he has been an EPA AHERA-accredited Asbestos Inspector, Management Planner, Project Designer and Contractor/Supervisor, and is a Missouri-Certified Air Sampler. Mr. Galley is also a Lead Inspector, Lead Risk Assessor, HAZWOPER trained and is UST Groundwater and Soil Sampling Certified. He has taught tens of thousands of students during 30+ years of instruction for various providers and universities. He has extensive environmental cleanup, industrial hygiene and safety consulting experience. Mr. Galley conducts work in most of the 50 states and in multiple countries. Mr. Galley has 35-years of military experience and with working on DOD locations.
